Cozy East
This 2 bedroom cozy cottage and it’s book-end, Cozy West, was built in the 40’s. It’s cozy and has everything you need. It’s just a 2 minute walk down Melbourne St. to the beach. A stroll in the other direction will take you to the fishway to find out about the preservation of trout and salmon in the Nine Mile River. If you want to spend time on the riverbank, have a look at renting Avoca South.
NOTICE: This cottage will temporarily not have a firepit or extra large hammock. We had to cut down the big ash tree as it didn;tsurvive an Emerald Ash Borer infestation. We’ve planted a new Purple Beech but it will take a few years before it can support a hammock, and the canopy is high enough to not be damaged by a campfire.

- Maximum occupancy 4 people.
- No pets, parties, outdoor music, tents or campers.
- Check-in after 4 pm
- Check-out 10:30 am leaving cottage clean and tidy as found.
- Weekly rentals only. Enquire for discounts on 3 or more week stays.
